In November 2019, I was honored to win the Election for City-County Council in District 16, and it has been a pleasure to finally get much needed resources for projects that improve the quality of life of our neighborhoods.
I want to take those on-the-ground experiences of fighting for this community to the State Senate where I will continue to be a voice for working families and common sense policies that benefit us all.

Now, more than ever, you need someone with experience and a solid Democratic voting record behind them so you can trust that they will not waiver on principles.

As a union member of AFSCME Local 725, I know how hard our community works to put food on the table and raise a family, especially in the middle of a pandemic. That’s why I am proud of my record of votes on the City-County Council to provide funding for rental assistance, Covid-19 relief, passed funding for economic development projects in our District that bring jobs and improve the quality of life of our neighborhoods, and many other proposals I voted for that put people first.

I am happy to say that my unwavering stance on looking out for the interests of workers has earned me a reputation for fighting for all members of our community.

I also strongly believe in serving our community. On many weekends you will find me cleaning out storm drains to protect from flooding streets and yards or at neighborhood cleanups picking up litter. I do this because I believe that each of us has a role to play in improving the quality of life in our city and I sincerely believe that elected officials should lead by example.
